Flights to SavusavuAir Fiji and Pacific Sun (formerly Sun Air) offer daily flights to Savusavu from Nadi and Suva, landing at Savusavu Airport just 3 kilometers from town. Tickets can be purchased in Savusavu at the 'Copra Shed' at the Air Fiji and Pacific Sun offices. The flight from Nadi and Suva takes approximately 55 minutes. There are also onward flights to Taveuni that land here daily on outward or return journeys to the mainland.Ferry ServicesThere are three ferry services that operate between Suva and Savusavu. The 'Adi Savusavu' operated by Beachcomber Shipping, which takes approximately 14 hours to travel from Suva to Savusavu with a stop off in Koro Island calls at Savusavu a few times a week and proceeds on to Taveuni. Consort Shipping Line Limited also runs a car ferry service from Suva called the 'Spirit of the Fiji Islands' or SOFI for short. It also operates 2 to 3 times a week and also travels on to Taveuni. The Suilven is a newer ferry service that travels in and out of Savusavu.Beachcomber Shipping also operate a catamaran called the 'Lagilagi ' out of Port Denarau near Nadi which leaves every Sunday and takes approximately 5 hours.
