Flights to SavusavuAirFiji and SunAir have daily flights to Savusavu from Nadi and Suva and land at Savusavu Airport just 3 kilometers from town. Tickets can be purchased in the 'Copra She' in town at the AirFiji, SunAir offices. The flight from Nadi and Suva take approximately 55 minutes. There are also flights from Taveuni that land here daily.Ferry ServicesThere are three ferry services that operate between Suva and Savusavu. The 'Adi Savusavu' operated by Beachcomber Shipping, which takes approximately 14 hours to travel from Suva to Savusavu, with a stop off in Koro Island. The car ferry operated a few times a week and proceeds on to Taveuni. Consort Shipping Line Limited also runs a car ferry service from Suva called the 'Spirit of the Fiji Islands' or SOFI for short. It also operates 2 to 3 times a week and also travels on to Taveuni.Beachcomber Shipping also operate a catamaran called the 'Lagilagi ' out of Port Denarau near Nadi which leaves every Sunday and takes approximately 5 hours. |
